Heather Fordham is a potter based in Petaluma, California, who has worked with clay since high school. She throws on a kickwheel and intentionally limits her tools to stay connected to the slow, physical process of handcrafted pots. Her work focuses on form over decoration and she strives to create silhouettes that are both understated and resilient.  Inspired by utilitarian design, she crafts pieces that quietly support daily rituals—meals shared, coffee poured, and flowers arranged.
